Scam Alert: Fraudulent DMV Text Messages:

If you receive text messages claiming to be from the DMV and stating that a citation payment is overdue: these messages are fraudulent. The DMV never requests personal or financial information via text.

Timelines to File a Notice of Appeal

Felony Criminal: 60 days after the rendition of the judgment or making of the order being appealed.

Misdemeanor Criminal: 30 days after the rendition of the judgment or the making of the order.

Unlimited Civil: 60 days after the rendition of the judgment or making of the order being appealed.

Limited Civil: 30 days after the rendition of the judgment or the making of the order.
